A Humble Ambition

I want to do for for thought what Joseph Albers did for colour.

  2. Effectively used.

Albers taught his students how to "use color effectively". His aim was "to develop -- through experience -- by trial and error -- an eye for color" (Interaction of Color, p. 1).

My aim, I suppose, would be to teach the effective use of words in the expression thought. To develop the mind's eye (for concepts).
